come to think of it...

Remember my little dispute over Montreal, and going there with some friends and ultimately deciding to go to Spain?

Have I got news for you... I've decided to go to Montereal all by myself. Typing this, make me feel a bit childish, but it is always a big step to make such a decision all by yourself. And it is a truly major thing to do. Being responsible for all arrangements( hotel, tickets, eating, flying, getting there, and once there, move around etc..). But i made up my mind:

Luxury...

It's great. Thinking what to do on your holiday... Making plans on how not to do anything. Taking leave from your job, just by some keyboard data entries in some database. And voila, presto your holiday absence is a fact...Free to leave.
In other parts of the world thousands of people are getting homeless, caused by an earthquake, and to make the contrast even sharper: i am just typing some digits and
i am excused for three weeks, fully paid leave. Okay no more of it. I can't change the world in this abstract way. I am only fortunate to live in this part of the world with its own struggles, and i am not free of it by far. So I will enjoy my holiday. And make no mistake: it is not all about nothing to do. The first week will be truly just relaxing on a beach in Spain. Starting from the second week: things to do and see. We'll spend two weeks in the inland of Spain. Scheduled is: Alhahambra, Sevilla, Ronda, Granada and even
a small piece of Great Britain: Gibraltar. So by the end of the third week, i will be tired and probably want a new holiday...
